These Terms of Service ("Terms", "Agreement") govern your access to and use of Patrick Market ("Service", "Platform"), an online marketplace operated as a peer-to-peer commerce facilitator. By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
To use Patrick Market services, you must create an account by providing a unique username and secure password. You are responsible for safeguarding your authentication credentials and for all activity occurring under your account. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication and maintaining a unique password not used on any other service.
You agree to provide accurate registration information and to update such information promptly when changes occur. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts containing materially false information.
By using Patrick Market, you represent and warrant that you are:
Vendors wishing to list on Patrick Market must complete our verification process, which evaluates trustworthiness signals including:
Verified Vendor status confers no special legal rights but signals to buyers that a vendor has met our internal trust criteria. We may revoke verification at any time for cause.
Patrick Market operates an escrow-based order system designed to protect both buyers and vendors:
Patrick Market accepts supported cryptocurrencies as the sole payment medium. We do not process credit-card or fiat-currency payments, and we do not store wallet credentials. Network confirmation requirements vary by cryptocurrency.
Platform fees are disclosed at checkout and may include:
All fees are subject to change with reasonable advance notice.
You agree not to use the Service for any of the following purposes:
Violations result in immediate account termination, escrow forfeiture in serious cases, and potential reporting to lawful authorities.
If a buyer and vendor cannot resolve a transactional issue between themselves, either party may escalate to platform mediation:
Platform decisions are final and binding. By using the Service you agree to resolve all marketplace disputes through this internal mechanism rather than external litigation, except where applicable consumer-protection law preserves your right to court access.
The Patrick Market platform, including its design, code, branding, and content created by us, is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or included software, nor may you reverse-engineer or extract the source code unless local law permits such activity.
User-generated content (listings, reviews, messages) remains the property of the user, but you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute such content as necessary to operate the Service.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, Patrick Market and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses arising from your use of the Service.
Patrick Market acts solely as a facilitator of peer-to-peer transactions. We do not pre-screen listings or guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or accuracy of items transacted between users. Users transact at their own risk and should exercise reasonable judgment.
You agree to indemnify and hold Patrick Market, its operators, employees, and affiliates harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, or expenses arising from your breach of these Terms or your unlawful use of the Service.
We may suspend or terminate your account, with or without notice, for any breach of these Terms or for activity we reasonably believe poses a risk to other users or the Platform. You may close your account at any time by contacting support; account closure does not affect any pending escrow obligations or dispute proceedings.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the operating jurisdiction without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes between you and Patrick Market that cannot be resolved through internal mediation shall be brought exclusively in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms periodically. The updated date is shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be notified via on-platform notice at least 30 days before taking effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
If you do not agree with the updated Terms, you must discontinue use of the Service before the effective date.
